GP information Evening 25th of October

Forth Valley LMC is holding an information evening on the 25th of October.

There will be a buffet from 6.30 -7.30 to allow practices to catch up with each other followed by several presentations which we hope will be useful to practices.

These will include:

The current outlook for General Practice and what we have achieved as a LMC
Defining the GP Role and being clear on what General Practice does and does not provide.
The New Forth Valley Primary/Secondary Care Interface Document and how this helps us as GPs
Reviewing Enhanced Services – are they Profitable?
What Practices Can do – BMA workload guidance, list closure and last man standing.

We hope there will be something of interest to every practice.

Initially we are offering 2 places to every practice in Forth Valley – these are open either to GPs or Practice Managers it is each practice’s choice who they send. We are asking each practice to confirm by replying to this email who their reps are by the 1st of October. Could you include your practice name and practice number when giving this information.

After the 1st of October if there are spaces not taken up we will offer these out on a first come first served basis.
